This little miss had her first recital with Lori Day, her dance teacher, this past May. Kennedy was doing ballet for a while and wanted a change so she started taking dance from Lori and loved it. Lori is so sweet and grandmotherly. Kennedy loved her instantly.
The recital was very entertaining and a lot of fun to watch.
Kennedy did such a great job and even remembered to smile during her performance.
Now that dance is over for the summer Kennedy wants to try something new....gymnastics.
I guess it is all about what she wants and not what I want.
I would love for her to dance for forever but after 2 years of it she is ready to move on and try something new.
Gymnastics it is.
Until I can persuade her to go back to dance.

I love those pictures. I also love Lori. I too dance with Lori and have for years. I took a little time off since having knee surgery and then having Blake but am back with her now.. She is great. Congrats on the big show for Kennedy. Good luck with gymnastics!
I remember seeing those pics on your camera FOREVER ago. You are a serious blog slacker. :) Kennedy looks beautiful. I'm positive she was in heaven while getting her make-up put on. She'll love gymnastics... and besides, she needs some tumbling experince for her future on so you think you can dance. :) Love ya!
