Kade's Baby Blessing

On Sunday, March 30th we blessed Kade in the Palo Verde ward. He was exactly 3 months on Sunday. It was a very nice blessing and Justin did a really good job. Afterward, we came to our house for a luncheon and let me say....."Let the party (or chaos) begin!" We had a lot of fun, mixed in with a lot of work. I went to bed at 12:30 on Saturday night because I was cleaning and then Justin and I both woke up at 6:30 am Sunday morning to spend 2 hours making 75 sandwiches, which I only ended up eating a half of one because I was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off!! And then I had to get all the kids ready, plus myself while Justin went to meetings (thankfully he came home early from them) We really had to try hard to not be late, especially to our own baby blessing. So before church we had plenty of time to take family pictures but Justin didn't want to and wanted to do them after church...well, when we got home and in the two seconds that it took me to get inside Kennedy, Kobe, and Justin were already changed and running around so there was no way I was going to be able to catch them and make them take pictures...so that is why we have no family pictures on Kade's blessing day. I did however make sure that a lot of pictures were taken at the house. Overall, it was an exciting, but exhausting day because when people left we had to start over again with the cleaning...what a viscious circle, (you clean for people to come over and then you just have to clean again when they leave) but we really did have a good time and wouldn't have changed anything for the world!! I am just happy that it is over:)

Rach that day was pretty crazy, but so much fun! You guys definitely know how to throw great party's! And you were worried that you'd have leftover sandwiches!!! Nope all 75 gone! Even though you didn't get a family picture you did get a lot of good pics. Maybe you can try next Sunday, because Kennedy did look super cute in her new dress!

Hey Rachel, That was the same day we blessed Avrie! You look great! I'm glad it turned out well! You had a full house. We only had 11 people and i felt stressed putting it together. I can't imagine making 75 sandwiches!!

Yes I did get your message. Thanks for grabbing the water bottle. It was only 99 cents but Jaylee got it in her Easter basket and loves it. The pictures of Kade's blessing are so cute! It was fun hanging out with you and your friends this week!

How fun! Crazy when people come but I find it a great excuse to clean my house top to bottom. Like I would let anyone see how messy I really am! They need to know how perfect my house & my life are! j/k

Just reading that made me get stressed out. I can't believe you made all 75 sandwiches yourself. You are way too good to be my friend :) Kade looks so cute in his little outfit.

Kade is so cute!! I loved all the blessing pics! I am sorry you didn't know about my blog, but glad you found it. I have been spying on yours for a little while! :) If only having company weren't so much work, people would do it a lot more often!
