Vegas' idea of a pumpkin patch is to throw hay on concrete in a parking lot of a casino. But hey, that's what we get here in lovely Las Vegas. We don't get a true fall, so we just have to fake ourselves out and "pretend" to have a fall. We enjoy "pumpkin patches" and haunted houses and cooler weather....yah! for cooler weather! No, not sweater and hot chocolate weather, just not burn yourself on your seats in your car weather. No changing of the leaves, no beautiful fall scenery, just pumpkin patches Vegas style!! Even though I think that a pumpkin patch right off a major intersection is silly, my kids LOVED it and that is all that counts. They really did enjoy themselves and did not want to leave. Even though I was sweating to death standing in the hot sun....IN OCTOBER!!!! I would do it all again....and will do it all again next year:)

If you had not told me it was Vegas you could have bluffed and I would have thought it was a real pumpkin patch -- you are right as long as the kids are happy.
I love this post... those are my feelings exactly! But I must say, I think the kids like this style of pumpkin patch much better than an authentic one. A REAL pumpkin patch does not have a bouncy slide or carnival rides! We are headed to this parking lot patch on Wed!
Seriously... I still can't believe Kobe picked that chicken up!
I'm with you Rachel. Fall just ISN'T the same in Las Vegas. I'm glad you had fun though.
